Center for Presidential Transition

Visit site

In the lead-up to the 2024 election cycle, I redesigned the Partnership for Public Service’s Center for Presidential Transition website, a trusted resource for upholding democratic norms during presidential transitions. To get feedback from the site’s busy users, I crafted a survey to send to champions of the site to learn about their attitudes toward the Center site. Overwhelmingly, I saw from the responses that our most active users were happy with how the site was organized. On that basis, I decided to focus my energy on updating the site UI to align with the Partnership’s design system rather than make drastic modifications to information architecture. Additionally, I worked with the Center’s research team to create useful tags, taxonomies, and design components for the Center’s library of nearly 500 resources for presidential candidates.
